          Matthew Kaim is currently a Recruitment Manager at Power Careers, LLC. Matt is a proud 8-year Air Force veteran having served in Human Resources leadership as well as working as an Aircraft Mechanic. Matt spent time serving our country in Germany, Jordan, and here in Indiana at the Grissom Air Force base. Matt brings with him a deep understanding of organizational leadership, customer service, and the ability to technically recruit for some of the most difficult roles within the power and energy sectors.

          When asked what Matt loves about recruiting, he simply replied, “I like helping people…I like helping people find their way and fixing broken processes.” Matt’s big heart and ability to problem-solve have made him a standout to the candidates we serve. Matt’s friends describe him as never backing down from a challenge. We also learned that Matt is a real-life “Rain Man” when it comes to numbers. When and if you ever play a game of Poker with him, be prepared to lose your socks…those numbers don’t leave his head.

          Matt is originally from the Midwest, having grown up in Central Indiana. During High School, Matt wrestled and brought it to the field in Shot Put and Discus.  Matt’s spare time is spent with his dogs, his wife, and riding his Harley Davidson. Give Matt the open road, an opportunity to help a friend, accompanied by his lovely wife and you will find the epitome of a happy man. He is also a music enthusiast spanning from classical rock to heavy metal. He plays the drums and has been known to pick up the guitar a time or two.  Next time you are on the phone with him, ask him why Metallica is his all-time favorite band!
