Power and Energy Industry Recruitment Firm
Lance Mooney is currently the RPO Manager at Power Careers, LLC. Lance recently joined Power Careers after spending the past 8 and half years recruiting and training other recruiters at one of the nation’s largest staffing firms located in Spokane, Washington. Lance brings over 20 years’ experience in all aspects of recruitment. His unwavering commitment to personalized communication and his insistence on “still picking up the phone” has landed him at the intersection of great recruitment and even better networking abilities. Lance currently recruits and manages accounts focused in the electrical power and energy sectors. Prior to joining, Lance was also a well respect entity in the construction recruiting realm with a list of references as large as an almanac!
Lance is originally from the southwest and now resides in Idaho with his wife and two adult children. Lance wasn’t always in the recruiter seat, he actually began his career in the Marines as a Motor Transport NCO. His technical abilities and commitment to working hard, quickly garnered him the ability to hand pick his military transition into recruitment. Though he will always recite the Semper Fidelis, he would be the first to proclaim how truly rewarding his life in recruitment has been. Lance now shares stories of recruiting for industries such as IT, Finance, Accounting, Semiconductors, Mining, Power, Construction and Utilities. While recruiting for a wide menu of industries has kept Lance busy, he will be the first to tell you, he is never too busy to appreciate opportunities for travel.
Lance and his wife Jeanna enjoy their outdoor life in Idaho. They are avid dog lovers and travel internationally when they can to destinations such as Ireland, Mexico and Aruba. Lance is also a fly fisherman and a part-time DJ. Kidding here, but he does enjoy a healthy dose of Gangster Rap as well as the Northwest Grunge scene along with visiting breweries and learning about as many craft beers as he can. If you want to get on his good side, ask him about the Raiders or his favorite Belgian beer! Next time Lance reaches out, be prepared to have a great conversation and consider him your new friend. You will be hard pressed to find another recruiter that is more genuine and more dedicated. Lance’s conservative values, love of people and relationship building skills are bar none. Lance is truly one of the best in the business.
